Y esterday I assisted a friend of mine, Vincent Sandoval. We shoot Michelle and David’s wedding together, and let me tell you this wedding was quirky, and fun, and all over the place crazy. We arrived at the Biltmore Hotel which is an old swanky 1920’s hotel located in downtown LA. When we walked into the getting ready room there were two of the bridesmen jumping on the bed. Michelle had a total of four bridesmen and one bridesmaid. They definitely brought the energy and were ready to party. After Michelle was all dolled up and in her gown she headed downstairs to meet her groom David for the “first look”. I was pleasantly surprised to see how sensitive these two people were for one another. Despite all the silliness and joking around it was clearly obvious that this couple truly loved one another. Both had tear filled eyes and sweetness surrounded them as they saw each other for the first time.
The ceremony was held at Los Angeles River Center and Gardens, it was a really beautiful wedding site with lots of character and charm. Michelle and David are rock fans and their ceremony wouldn’t have been complete if they didn’t include some hard core Rock and Roll. As Michelle danced down the aisle towards her groom every guest stood up clapping there hands to AC/DC. It was such an exciting entrance. David and Michele had very heartfelt and touching vows, but before Michelle said her vows she had a surprise for David. She had arranged the Sexy Sax Man Sergio Flores to make an appearance. He did his thing, coming down the aisle with his sexy sax, and then was gone. I have never seen guests as happy as their guests were to see these two people tie the knot.
We then moved on to the reception where there was a lot of dancing, drinking and everyone just having a grand time. From the minute the music started everyone was up on their feet movin’ and groovin’. It was truly a pleasure being a part of Michelle and David’s day. I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness, and I am sure they will have a lifetime of endless laughter.
